About

About this site

BitMartAlternatives.com exists for one reason: BitMart announced its shutdown on July 26, 2026, and most of what ranked for "bitmart alternatives" that week was either a single-exchange advertorial or a listicle written before the shutdown existed. We wanted the page we'd send a friend with money on BitMart.

Who's behind it

The site is researched and maintained by a small independent editorial team that has traded on — and migrated off — centralized exchanges since 2017, including wind-downs and worse (Cryptopia and FTX were both educational, in the expensive sense). We run a companion site for derivatives traders, bitmexalternatives.com, covering the BitMEX shutdown announced the same week. We are not affiliated with BitMart, and we don't claim credentials we don't have: this is careful research, not licensed financial advice.

How the comparison data is built

Update policy

Exchange data is re-verified roughly every two weeks through the August 2026 deadline period, then monthly. Every page shows its last-verified date (currently 2026-07-30). If BitMart publishes the post-January-2027 access deadline, the timeline updates the same week.

How the site makes money

Some exchange links are affiliate links — if you open an account through them, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Rankings are set by fit for a BitMart user (listings, fees, country access, risk) before monetization is even looked at; several of our top recommendations (Coinbase, Kraken, Bitvavo, Gate) currently pay us nothing, and we say so in place wherever they appear. The full policy is in the affiliate disclosure.

Corrections

Spot an outdated fee, a wrong availability flag, or anything else? Open an issue the fastest way you can reach us — corrections ship within days and get noted on the affected page. Crypto data rots quickly; we'd rather hear about it than not.
